General Requirements Before DOI Activation

Before DOI activation is carried out, several mandatory requirements must be fulfilled by journal administrators or the journal PIC (Person in Charge). These requirements ensure secure access and proper system configuration in OJS.

• Before DOI activation, the admin must complete configuration steps so that the Crossref Participation Report can function properly. The required configurations are explained in Sections DOI Metadata (https://doi.pubmedia.co.id/knowledge-bases/11).
• User credentials, password, and DOI prefix are sent simultaneously to the responsible journal PIC.
• Only the PIC is allowed to hold and manage DOI account access. This rule is enforced to ensure data security and prevent unauthorized access.

Journal administrators must ensure that DOI credentials (user, password, and prefix) are only shared with authorized PICs.

Do not share DOI credentials through insecure communication channels.
