Participation Report is a report provided by Crossref that presents a visualization of the completeness percentage of article metadata registered by each member. This report can be accessed openly by anyone via the official link:
https://www.crossref.org/members/prep/

Participation Report works by automatically retrieving data from the Crossref REST API and displaying the results in an easy-to-read visual format. Each Crossref member has their own report, allowing journal administrators to monitor how complete their registered metadata is.

Why Participation Report is Important?

The more complete the registered metadata, the higher the Participation Report score of your journal. A higher score improves discoverability, visibility, and credibility of the journal at the international level. Journal administrators can regularly monitor their Participation Report score at: https://www.crossref.org/members/prep/

Notes — Participation Report

To view the Participation Report visualization, open the Crossref website at https://www.crossref.org/members/prep/ and search for the journal or institution name in the search field. A dashboard visualization will then appear.
