Verification and Issuance of DOI Prefix by Crossref

After the registration stage, the organization’s DOI prefix application will be processed by the UniveID and Pubmedia Group admin team through the following steps:

1. After the submission data is verified by the admin team, the system will issue a membership invoice as a requirement for membership.
2. Prospective members must complete the membership payment so the application can be forwarded to Crossref.
3. If the membership invoice has not been paid, the admin team will not proceed with submitting the application to Crossref.
4. Once payment is completed and verified by the admin, the application will be forwarded to Crossref.
5. The admin team will input the application data according to the information you provided in the system. Please ensure that the organization website and journal website are accessible, and use an official organizational email (not a personal email) when filling out the form.
6. If the organization does not yet have a website, this is not an issue as long as it has legal documents (e.g., SK/AHU) that can be submitted during Crossref screening.
7. The issuance process for the DOI prefix, user account, and password by Crossref takes approximately 7–14 working days. Please monitor the organization’s email regularly to respond promptly to any messages from Crossref.
