Does the DOI Prefix apply to only one journal?

No. A DOI Prefix applies to all journals under the same publisher. Therefore, if a publisher manages more than one journal, all of them will use the same DOI Prefix.
No, DOI services by Pubmedia are provided without any deposit fee.
Payments can be made online through the DOI Pubmedia website, with Virtual Account options available.
Customers are required to provide accurate and complete journal information. Pubmedia is not responsible for issues arising from inaccurate data.
Yes, Pubmedia reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via email or the official website.
Starting from [effective date, e.g., November 1, 2025], each article registered for a DOI will be subject to : a. USD $1 per article (DOI registration fee via Crossref) b. Additional Rp1,000 per article (local service and maintenance fee)
CY (Current Year) refers to content published in the current year or within the previous two years. Examples: If content is registered in 2026, CY includes publications from 2026, 2025, and 2024. If content is registered in 2025, CY includes publications from 2025, 2024, and 2023.
BY (Back Year) refers to content published earlier than the Current Year (CY) period. Examples: If content is registered in 2026, BY includes publications from 2023 and earlier. If content is registered in 2025, BY includes publications from 2022 and earlier.
DOI registration fees may vary based on: 1. The type of content being registered. 2. Whether the content is classified as Current Year (CY) or Back Year (BY). To ensure accurate billing, please verify the publication year of your content before submitting it for DOI registration.
If you have concerns about the legitimacy of a Crossref Sponsor, you can verify the sponsor directly through Crossref's official website. UniveID and Pubmedia Group is a Crossref Sponsor recognized under Crossref's official Sponsorship Program. Crossref maintains information about its sponsorship program and approved sponsors to help organizations join and manage their Crossref membership. To verify a sponsor, please visit the official Crossref page: https://www.crossref.org/membership/about-sponsors
Organizations participating in the Similarity Check service receive an annual invoice each January for documents checked during the previous year. The first 100 document checks are free of charge. If fewer than 100 documents are checked within a year, no invoice will be issued.
No. A service suspension is temporary and does not terminate your membership. Once the overdue invoice has been paid and the payment has been verified, your service will be restored, and you can continue registering content as usual.
